It wasn't just a relaunch party. It was history in the making as Nigeria's biggest music streaming and download service, Music+ hosted music lovers to a noiseless party at the Kings College Annex in Lagos.
What is a Noiseless Party?: Now a noiseless party doesn't mean no speakers at all, it only means each person present at the party will have it's own source of sound, which won't affect what others are playing or listening to. In most cases organizers uses earphone just the same way Music plus did. Its the first time such a party is happening in Nigeria.
The party, the first of its kind in the country attracted music lovers as well as key players in the Music Industry who all turned up to celebrate Music+, Nigeria's foremost digital music platform. Some of the artistes that turned up for the event included MTN Ambassadors Davido, Chidinma, Sound Sultan, HarrySong amongst others.
The event presented an opportunity for Music + to unveil its theme song which was performed by Sound Sultan, HarrySong, Chidinma, Praiz and MTN Project Fame export, Immaculate. But by far the crescendo of the event was the noiseless party itself where instead of listening to music blaring from the giant speakers, the revelers were handed special headphones from which they could listen to their favourite songs from two resident DJs. The audience had a swell time with their headphones even as they danced to the melodious songs With DJ Neptune.
Little wonder the event created a viral buzz, trending for well over 6hours on Twitter as the music enthusiasts couldn't hide their feeling of the awesome party night. They took to social media to relish and share their experiences using the #MusicIsTheKey.
