It was a night of fun, classic music and the very best from the Nigerian music industry as the 9th edition of the MTN Corporate Elite Night concert was held at the posh Eko Hotels and Towers.
This year’s (9th) edition had American R& B sensations from the 90s, Jagged Edge, 112 and Miller from the female group, 702 performing, alongside MTN ambassadors including Harrysong, Iyanya, Chidinma, Sound Sultan and Cobhams Asuquo.
Other artistes that performed include: Olu Maintain of ‘Yahooze’ fame who performed with Tuface Idibia, Tekno, Mocheda, Banky W, Style Plus, African China and a host of other Nigerian stars.
The concert was graced by a host of personalities and celebrities that included the likes of Chibuike Amaechi, (Minister of Transport), former Super Eagles player, Austin Okocha, popularly known as Jaja Okocha, ace producer, Tee Y Mix, actors Gideon Okeke and Gbenro Ajibade, TV personalities like Toke Makinwa amongst others, Also a few comedians were in attendance in the likes of AY, Julius Agwu and others.
It was a remarkable night for the revelers who were not only treated to the very best of old school songs from the foreign artistes but also thrilling performances from the Nigerian artistes.
